Whenever I take on memorial work it touches me personally in a way I can never really put into words. There are so many hours spent making these bespoke jewellery designs. Sometimes you know what's happened, sometimes they may share a blog or social media feed about their condition and it always brings tears to my eyes. Their spirit and personality always shines through. like the brightest light Sometimes you don't know, but you will get to know the relative and sometimes its completely anonymous.
But whenever I work on a special piece I carefully think of the people, family & relatives and what they must be going through and say a little prayer. They will always stay in my heart, even if we've never exchanged a vocal word. I am honoured to be able to make something special to keep their loved one close.
